J-Blake, can you be real specific on the light?
Like a model # or an Amazon link?
I'm visualizing a glow light but it isn't battery operated. or a battery operated one they sell at the Home Cheapo stores in the check out line.
Did you use gels to get that color, was it the glow light? or PP?
I'm gettin ideas!

One word of advice I can pass on when looking for lights is that you don't need much in the way of power. A little goes a long way. I bought these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o02_s01_i00, which came in a 3 - 4 packs for $4. They seemed to work very well for the task at hand.

Those are really cool - May have to look into getting a couple.

And Todd - Don't sell yourself short. You have spawned a few nightographers!

The architecture in this mansion is absolutely gorgeous. it's a privately owned building and the owner is trying to restore it as it is a historical house. This mansion was built as a main stop for the Underground Railroad.
Did there happen to be a Pontiac Fiero parked somewhere close by? Just curious...

Gulfport, Mississippi...the old Markham Hotel Building. Once was the nicest hotel in the area, later converted into office space, and finally, ravaged and gutted by Hurricane Katrina in 2006.

Nice Russ! I have one shots from inside that building somewhere. I'll see if I can dig them up. Did you go inside?

Cool, Todd...didn't go inside. My wife, who was with me as we did a shoot of her, would have had a heart attack! She was nervous enough just doing the shots we did of her (see People forum) in the alleyways nearby.
