this lens should fit the 5dmk2 yes?

It'll fit, yes. But you'll get vignetting. Its designed for APS-C.

Was at a wedding reception Saturday night and this flower was the centerpiece at our table. Thought I would try a close up. This is an artificial flower. Exif: SS 1/60, F4, ISO 400 taken at 70mm and flash was bounced off ceiling:

A few pictures I took with this lens during my recent trip to Ireland. These were taken with 60D. I only took Sigma 17-70mm and Sigma 10-20mm for ultra-wide landscape shots. Pictures below were taken with 17-70mm lens. Nice and sharp.

f4.5, 1/200, 54mm, ISO 160

This lens pretty much stays planted on the camera since I got it. A few recent captures. . .

I was just looking at your shot above. Something doesn't look right at all. It should be much sharper if shot with this lens. Do you have some kind of "protective filter" on the front of your lens?

Hoosier Joe, that photo looks indeed really bad, as Kfreels says. It should be much much sharper if properly shot with this lens.

It looks like it's cropped, maybe that's why.
