nice. Would vary the compositions more for the series (wider angles). Also not sure I like the grainy look

1-3 The compositions and WB bother me

The signs on the bridge looking thing distract me (but that's nit picking).

The reflection of the bridge in the last one bothers me too (no particular reason why)

Overall, seems like a very standard set. If that's what you went for, they're pretty good.

Practice makes perfect! Keep working on it. Try to isolate your subject a bit more with a shallower depth of field and take note of what the others have said. Good luck.

thanks for the advice and compliments, I actually did have some wider angle pictures, but cropped some in the end to keep from losing the woman to the scenary..

White Balance is a beast I have yet to tackle.. still leaving that to auto..

I agree with the above. These photos look very simple. Try looking up some things on composition. Learn the rule of thirds and use it until you understand it then you can break the rules. As far as white balance goes you should calibrate your monitors and fix the white balance in post if you shoot raw (if you dont you probably should until you learn how to adjust white balance in camera). I use to have a tendency of making things a little too warm so I know where you are coming from. The first 3 photos also look over sharp. Keep working at it and remember to read this forum alot and any word you dont know, google and youtube it.
