Default USS Iowa

Well the Iowa arrived this morning off of Seal Beach. It will be there for a few days. They are doing a boat tour around it tomorrow:

Wish they were going to do this on the weekend. I would think it would have made a whole lot more sense to do it on the weekend.

Weekday: Far less pleasure boat activity...

We were really bummed when the Iowa didn't leave San Francisco Bay as originally planned. I was on the Jeremiah O'Brien - a WWII Liberty ship that was going to escort the Iowa out under the Golden Gate Bridge.

SF Bay was crazy with pleasure boats waiting for the Iowa that day.

Well weekend far more money...doesn't matter to me, a friend of mine and myself are renting a helo for this weekend to do some air shots of the Iowa. Should be awesome.

Sucks they are moving it Saturday!! Why not hold off until like Sunday or Monday to move it to the berth so us that have to work during the week can view it on the weekend.

It looks similar to the USS Wisconsin
