We ended up with a fantastic day for some WWII birds, great weather and even though there were some clouds, I had a great time.

I like the Gun POV, not your average plane shot.

Thanks, I was thinking on coming up with different shots and I wasn't sure that shooting at f4 (shot with the 24-105) would give me the desired effect, but I think they came out perfect!

Nice shots! I saw the Jackie C fly over this afternoon. I now know where it was coming from.

Great set. Three Mustangs flying together is always a welcome sight. :)
Nice to see FiFi up there as well. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Hey! I was there too! Looks like you were able to get closer to the larger planes? I was there Saturday only and the big planes on the ground were off limits.

Heres the Yankee Lady airborne…

Awesome shots! Nice to see these beauties still flying. I got to see a Mustang, B24 and B29 years ago before I had a camera, but have always wanted to see a B17 and some of these others. I love the WW2 stuff.
