What were your settings and how did you get such vibrant colours without ruining it

The easiest way is to increase the "saturation" in-camera. In the 20D menu there is an option to set your own parameters, I have mine a notch or two higher.

I have been trying to decide what lens to get and i was thinking of the 100-400 to start with. Then i thought about maybe a 300 mm or 400mm prime. But seeing these pictures makes me want to get a 100-400 L again now.

Number two is really good, I love how the colors of the bike match those of the rumble strip.

Number three is really good too, the snaking line of riders through the chicane is a great look. Nice capture.
