I've found that for the most part, PB only works well for flowers and animals with long(ish) hair. Here are a few I did recently from my wife's garden. Your comments?

Jason and Ron; both great edits. I think these types of shots are where PB is actually useful. I can see these hanging in a home/gallery.

I agree with Ron, the trees tend to look nice after running through pixelblender.

Agreed; that is what I was saying earlier. It works great with flora and with long(ish)hair on animals and in some cases humans. But with humans, it tends to really mess with skin so that has to be masked out before applying the filter.

I found a great example here (http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/...ender-way.html)

The background and hair were run through PB and then the face was worked with the mixer brush in PS. Came out fairly well.
