A friend asked me recently... why are you still using film?....
the sincerest answer can only be expressed by this....

Both of these are un-processed, except resize, and crop on the second.

Steinheil folder camera with a 105mm/6.3 anastigmat lens
Kodak TriX 400 ASA 120 6x9
Negatives rephotographed and converted to positive with an LR3 plugin.

I dunno .... I think I'll stick to digital and if I want that Kodachrome look I'll use a PS filter

yeah... that certainly works too ... im sticking to digital as well... just not giving up film...hhhmmm until i can't find any more film to buy haha...

but, it might be that im just "old" haha... i still have a analog vinyl collection and tube amps to play them through (amongst other hardware obviously)... for me digital certainly "does the trick"... but i still love that analog does it "right"... if you will
