Cool video!

I feel we've pretty much past the threshold where cool videos like this can tell us anything substantive about a new camera. Did the video show anything about the 1DX that makes it stand out from other products? No. And I don't think any video of that sort could. I'd really like to see an extremely well-produced product demonstration. It would be loads nicer and more useful than a Chuck Westfall youtube interview/demonstration at a crowded Canon event.

Anyway, cool video that just didn't seem to communicate much about the 1DX. But, maybe I missed it.

I sure hope we don't find out later that it was shot with a Nikon or something!

That was excellent, as was the other movies there, especially The Last 3 Minutes by Laforet, shot with the 5DII.

As to Shattered, while I love watching mountain climbing, I can never understand how anyone can risk their life ice climbing like that, and how the heck do they get down? Wow, just wow.

I thought it was beautiful! The behind the scenes videos gave some insight to the toughness of the 1Dx (crashing to the snow on their helicopter contraption from 30ft up in the air along with all the snow and ice they got on the bodies and lenses) along with talking about the footage from the 1Dx's sensor taking color grading much better.
