My first rig shot was on an F430. Then about 10 mins after that I did one of a Zonda...

Is that a Cinque?! We have 1 here is Singapore. #2/5.

I'm going to have your dilemma Nico76. I'm going to shoot a MP4-12C soon, have to persuade him for a rigshot, then it will be !!

Anyone know if it's safe enough to do it on the MP4-12C? I don't quite know the material of the hood/roof and the paint.

Well my rig isn't metal it's carbon ...

I've also been in the automotive photography arena on and off for 25 years. All my equipment is top notch and packaged accordingly ... clients can see that and it makes a difference. If your kit looks like crap no matter how efficient it is private owners are less likely to let you put it on their pride and joy.

I also have great faith in what my kit was designed for ... I know it isn't going to damage paintwork or panels when applied correctly.

At the end the day you just have to be careful ...

That's not my first rig shot. It's my first time shooting a Corvette. My first rig shot was on a 911 Turbo S, with with a rare color, and about 70k worth of mods.
What's different from shooting my car and a Corvette? Nothing, really.

The sky changed dramatically over the course of the 1.5 hours I was there. The sky section is literally the sky section, you can see the boom in it!!

I've done a 12C. Be really careful of the bonnet as it's very thin, I didn't check the roof as there was no need. I did it on the windscreen and rear window and it was fine.
I've be very wary of putting it on paintwork as I've heard lots of bad things about the 12C paintwork quality

Slight update on my rig. I invested in one of the Rig-Pros. It's absolutely fantastic.
My new suction pads are still on order so they're letting me down at the moment, but here are a few test shots.

about 6m on my Mini:

And about 4.5m on the porsche on gravel (on my front drive)

Big thumbs up for VisualEchos & Rig Pro!
