Is this extension tube enough for ring and other details shots? I don't want to buy another macro lens for just a couple shots at the wedding.

Don't think you will get enough magnification. Lens is too long and the tube too short. That tube or a 25mm tube on a 50mm lens would be better

You'll frame 120mm x 80mm at minimum focus (on a full frame body).....that's 0.33x magnification. A little cropping thrown in and you're at 1/2 life size without having lost too much quality.
