the dragonfly shots are great, and really have beautiful backgrounds. what lens are you using? a super tele?

I believe he is using the 300 f/4. His exif on flickr show 300mm focal length with 4.0 aperture...Just guessing, though. Great shots, none the less.

The subject isolation you're getting with the 300mm f/4 makes for gorgeously simple compositions. This one might just be my favorite yet. The bokeh is amazing.

By the way, just how long did it take to get the bird at that location so perfectly? Did you bait the bird to there somehow? No doubt the picture itself is amazing, but equally impressive is the talent to get the shot!
