Now I'm blushing! Seriously though, you're right up there. I still feel there's a huge gulf between what I do and the really good macro photographers like LordV and others, but practice is the thing and you and I both just need to keep at it. Keep posting them, Steve.

Ace and Deuce: Where do you find your macro subjects? Not many flowers right where I live (apartment complex), so just wondering.

Thanks again, sir! It's funny, I've had my camera for five months and one day (151 days) and I just took picture #12,407...that's 82.2 pictures a day, and the first month or so I barely took any, so I'm definitely practicing, lol.

I live in a crappy suburb with nothing to see & nothing to do. Every macro shot I've taken have been within one block of my house. It's been close to 100 degrees here for the last week, and as you can tell by the flower pics, most stuff is dead. I just took a stroll around the block to get those pics...just random people with a couple flowers in their yard, mostly running wild and unkempt, lol.
