This female puppy has a Maltese mother but, her father is a big question mark. Her mom was a rescue Maltese and her three male siblings are definitely Maltese/Chihuahua. However, we suspect that there was a different dad involved when her mom conceived her.
We suspect that the dad might have been a border collie. What do you think? Whatever she is, she sure is cute. We named her Molly Moo because as a younger puppy, her coloring looked like a Holstein cow,. This litter is about 10 weeks old... ![]() ![]() ![]() Sibling #1 ![]() Sibling #2 ![]() Sibling #3 ![]()

Was she born at the same time as the other pups? I would say she was part chi chi. They are all adorable.

Beautiful photos. I would guess there might be some poodle in her mix.

I know they use special lubricants now a days to cross breed all sorts of unlikely combinations. Looks like an interesting experiment to continue with. Nice photo's too.

I thought dogs couldn't conceive from different sires, that only cats could do that?
She has the same hair as my sister's Maltese/Chihuahua mix. Could just be the flat Chihuahua coat is the dominant gene and her curly coat is the recessive. Almost exclusively indoor dogs, the mother and father of my "puppy niece" are only allowed out in the totally fenced in back yard (supervised) so there's no chance of a 2nd sire. Her facial structure is very similar to the other 3 litter mates. Perhaps suggest a DNA test to whoever adopts her? She's bound to be scooped up quickly

Molly Moo, the black and white puppy and Shawnie, the fawn pup have already been adopted. They are going together to the same family...
