We're getting married in Central Park, NYC on Saturday May 4th 2013 and are looking for an experienced wedding photographer, with a flair for something "different".

By "different" we mean that you can offer something more than the traditional, almost clichéd, wedding shots and shoot in more of a magazine editorial style, whilst still capturing the essence of the moment.

Please forgive the "cold" nature of the following brief, we're an easy going, fun couple, but it's important to us that we set out exactly what we're looking for... We can laugh and joke over a beer or 3 when we've hired you and you've shot our wedding

ABOUT THE JOB:

When: Saturday May 4th 2013 (approx 3pm)
Where: Central Park, NYC
How long: 2-3 hours shooting
How much: You tell me
Images: Hi-Res image files (approx 50-100) without watermark/logos etc


ABOUT YOU:

Experience: You must be an experienced wedding photographer, this cannot be your "first rodeo".*

You must be able to demonstrate your experience, with examples of at least 3 weddings where you've been the main shooter.

Professional or Amateur: We're more interested in your skills and experience, rather than your financial situation. I've seen "professional" photographers with many years experience who I would never hire to shoot my own wedding. However, this will be a formal business arrangement, so amateur or not, you must be able to conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and deliver what we agree will be delivered. We expect our agreement to be based on a formal written contract.


We're UK based and it's unlikely that we'll meet face to face before we arrive in NYC in May 2013, therefore it's important that you're able to have regular contact with us electronically until then. However, we'd like it if we can get together for a face to face meeting (over a beer of course) on the evening of Friday May 12th 2013.

I would love to go into more detail about my style and how I am the best bet for your daughters wedding, I know how many responses your probably getting right now. My full day package includes a full day of shooting from getting ready to the end of the event, all the edited images as hi resolution files on a DVD for you to keep. This includes all printing rights for you so you can print as you wish. As well as an online gallery for friends and family to view and if they like purchase affordable prints. This package is $1950. But right now I am running a special of $500 off any package!
So you can get a full day of shooting with one photographer for $1450!
You would get all the edited images which in a full day is around 800+ edited images. I hope to hear from you soon!
I also have a 2 photographer special normally $2450, but with the special $1950!

I see you mentioned a shorter day, My minimum which is up to 4 hours is $750

I am fun, creative and like to create custom images specific to each couple!
I have plenty of references from many happy brides I would be happy to provide!

Also If I could hear a little more about your wedding location, number of guests I would be able to tell you more about myself and how I can be the perfect fit for your wedding day!

The wedding date is probably right, so I'm assuming the hangout would be Friday, May 10th...

I'd assume they'd want to do this meet before the wedding... otherwise is there really a point to scheduling a meeting for the week after the wedding this far ahead of time? Why not have that 'post-wedding' meet once the pictures are ready instead?

I'll have Nicksan, a boring wedding photographer who shoots all the cliche shots, as my lacky second shooter. But I won't pay him a dime. Omar too.
