I'm driving up north to Maine tomorrow to try and get some shots. Here's to hoping driving 7 hours each way isn't for nothing.

I seem to remember a solar flare will cause major problems with cellular communications. I guess I'll know for sure in about 12 hours.

I'm reading in the news the aurora may be visible in Northern California and as far south as Alabama. Sat between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. EDT.
