Favorite Places to Shoot in LA

Hey all,

I'm an LA native, and mainly interested in urban/street photography. The dilemma i've come across is I cant seem to find interesting locations with any (metaphorical) depth.

Recommendations?

The French Quarter. LA has many interesting festivals. Shoot during Mardi Gras around the Super Dome Etc.

Yeah the french quarter is good. Ive been wanting to go check out abandoned jazzland, unfortunately ( from the recent photos ive seen ) it appears as though the hood-lums have stolen or distroyed everything of interest. Plus when i tried to go the other day they had a film crew filming back there and they had a gaurd on duty
