you know what - I don't think he will, really nice guy, but he's always asking how I get my photos or saying "blimey you're up early" people seem to expect photos to find them rather than going to find them!

It's amazing what SLRs can do for video, they are small and portable, and most importantly, CHEAP.

Someone on here once told me (can't remember who) they didn't know why I didn't just buy a video camera, and it's simply the fact that to get a broadcast quality camera, with interchangeable lenses, for less than £12,000 is usually impossible.

It's only with the advent of slrs that affordable cinecams have started appearing.

it must be a complete god send for budget film makers & students to be able to use broadcast quality kit cheaply & simply - certainly seems to be making a more level playing field!

how's your filming projects going?

Cost was the main reason for using HDSLR cameras in the film rather than the "look" it gives. Hopefully the trend will continue and allow us to see more in the way of independant films.

Hence Canon bringing out the 1Dc.

Really nice, you look a natural pair. So proud of you mate.
Pete but you do have the smug feeling when they do pass you that you don't have anything to prove.

Dynamic Duo by felt_tip_felon®, on Flickr

We used a local company who've done loads of vinyl wraps for vehicles - they are here, not cheap, but the end results are amazing, and they can do any design!

would look cool on the MR2!

Nice shot Lee, and don't tempt on the vinyl wrap as the lens fund will shrink again.

I've seen both of those films but didn't know either were film on 5Ds, Act of Valor I thought was so so A Lonely Place to Die I thought was quite good.
