On another note... I just checked out Jim's Smugmug. The Tokyo Joe photos made me chuckle because Bobby LaMattina's brother Sal was one of my bosses. Amused me immensely when he told me his brother was nicknamed "Tokyo Joe."

I'm thinking more and more... my dream combo right now would be to have the 5Diii and 1DIV. I would at least be able to remove the grip and have a smaller profile camera for when I wanted it, plus the speed of the 1DIV for sports.

I don't know why I even pose the question. Not like I have a true need for these.

Yeah, that's my thing. While it would be nice to have the 300, I dont need it at the moment, though it would be useful for things like Fenway or if I shoot golf, etc.. of course, the $950 I'd be spending on the lens is a bit better than the $7500 you're considering on a 5D3/1D4 combo, so.. :P

Yea...he is the Founder of our Dojo, although we remain fairly seperate until black belt promotions. No short ego there. His other brother Dave is also a martial artist who is an awesome teacher. My family and I are out of Salisbury.

Ohhh snarky. I would look back a few pages but I'm walking around wrentham outlets.

I wish it was naked vids. Wouldn't mine hang a constant boner while editing. Got a few projects due en of the month. Going to be rough.


I'd like a paid of 1dxs too but gear lust lol.

Lens are fine to lust bout and I have a easier time buying as they hold value.

Bodies drop like used cars. I only buy what I need for the job. And I'm surviving just fine w a set of 5d2s and 1d2.


Although my greed is always there.


Missed a local Zeiss 85 last week. Been prowling the forums for one all day. Planning out my camera gear to bring to Asia next month. Trying to carry light but also want to finally have time to shoot for fun.

Gonna bring 2 5d2 and the 1d2. Dropping off one 5d body and the 1d at a local camera shop to have serviced. They do a good job. Had them clean a bunch of gear last time I was there. For hella cheap too. So thinking light on lenses. 24-70 and maybe the 85 Zeiss if I can get one in time.
