Default How to shoot star trails?

Hallo guys.

So i've been reading up on shooting star trails and it seems really interesting. Before I go and buy a wired shutter release remote I wanted to find out if I can do it with a wireless remote instead. (I am so embarassed if that's a stupid question )

Let me know if you can guys and if it's a really silly question just ignore me

yeah you can, just tape it or hold in down with a rubber band. The chinese cables are dirt cheap off ebay and work great. I got one for under $4 shipped from California.

Yeah I noticed they are really cheap, I just didn't wanna go through the hassle of waiting for so long since i'm in England I can't find anything closer.

Thanks for the tip, i'll try that and if i'm not succesful i'll purchase a cable.

I forget that not everyone here is in the states lol

For the price it's best to buy a couple of them, it's honestly the one thing that I always lose.

I'm always losing bloody lens caps. I'm so terrible with them. I just found a cable for £2.49 in HK. Noice, i'm gonna buy.
