Question What are some good two kid poses?

I will be taking pictures of two brothers this weekend, one six, one ten. What are some good poses? I've been looking around. Thanks for any help.

pinterest.com Also, if you work with kids enough, you'll find that they kinda create their own shoot and you have to be there to capture it...and baby wrangle!

Good luck getting them to pose for more than 10 seconds.

1) Hand out boxing gloves
2) Shoot

That's about right. I had to constantly tell them what to do. Even threaten them! Of course, they were my kids, so I probably wouldn't threaten a client's kid.

My advice is to let them be for a bit and see if they do something naturally, it can often major beat out anything you tried to get, and then once they loosen up it is easier to pose them yourself.

I prefer to give them little direction. I shoot my kids doing what they want to do. If they're being too silly then I'll direct their position and tell them I want to do a photo and then they can pose how they want. While composition may not be perfect, I always love the shots where they're in control rather than the ones that I tried to set up.
