I understand that was a very good advice and appreciate your comment too.
As far as for lighting equipment goes, I think mines are sufficient and it takes me some more time to master it.
For natural light and composition, they are free so currently not my major concern. Those require time and opportunities to perfect.

Speaking of money investment in gear, I guess I kind of wish to invest the most in long FL lenses. I was going to grab a 24L II but hesitated a bit because I missed the 85L II I had and 24L II is another specialty lens that might or might not fit my use. Honestly though, Sigma is really good. I probably will see if there's a good deal 85L II, then I jump on it, if not then forget about it.

If you do decide, you have a buyer :)

Matt, saw you working this way. You really got more out of the 85 on your 7D. Now that you're back on FF, I guess the 135 will be a better choice for you. I finally got a new one of those myself, and it really is a dream on FF...

You know Al, I didn't really think about it too much but, you're right though, I did use it way more when I was shooting the 7D...Nice work sleuth...lol...Just bought a near new 135L from a really great guy on the boards here that only lives like 45 minutes from my house....Gonna go grab it tomorrow :)
Cheers AL, your photography has really come of age, really enjoy watching your Flickr....

Thanks Maverique. It looked lonely but had cool light behind and mist in front of it.

Is it just me or does this one and the 50 capture orange sunset light much more beautifully than the Canon counterparts? It looks warmer yet in a subdued, easy to the eye way.

Matt, here's one from today, to remind you of the bokeh you'll be missing until you buy another one.

A couple more from this morning. Really haven't used this lens much in a while. Baby sitting my son, so the theme is rather repetetive...

I think it is a feature of sigma. I myself have felt the reds are a little more saturated especially on the sigma 30. Depends on if you like that.
