Default Testing out a few new Photoshop Actions

I suddenly realized that I could download Photoshop actions, instead of painstakingly going through the trial and error of making my own...what a delightful surprise!! Here are a few of the actions, in action...let me know what you think of the filters and the pics...I have about a billion more to try out. As always, CC is appreciated and welcomed.

Not really sure about any of them. They all look a bit dark and a bit bronze toned.

yeah, at first I liked them, but the more I look at them, the less I like them. I think they're too fake looking...i'm someone who usually does little PP besides for exposure, color temp, etc., so this is all pretty new for me. I've only had Photoshop for 2 days, lol...

Yeah, the last is the best - to be honest without sounding too harsh, you'd be better off playing with the settings yourself - playing with curves and effects is part of the fun. Discovering how to achieve the things you want to is more satisfying that using some preset actions.

That said there are some cool effects out there, just so much more you can do for yourself. Mess about and see what you like, you'll be surprised at what you can do!

these are the originals, before I added the heinous actions...any thoughts on what more could be done to them, or if they look ok as is? I'm just trying to learn a little more about editing...

It look like you may need to edit for exposure, shadows, highlights, contrast, etc and then try to apply different effects later.

I prefer the originals over the ones with PP.

I have to agree, at first I liked them, but then I saw the originals. I think the originals are fine by them selves. Maybe give them a little more saturation and contrast. I hope you don't mind, this is my PP solution.

And if I had the original images they would look a lot better... These were small files.. Lol

The originals are 10 times better. Just play around with the curves channels
