Of course The wife doesn't like to get her picture taken so I don’t get chances to capture her a whole lot. I have to use the tools available to me when I get a quick chance. Also, I have a new toy so why not. At least I didn’t use instagram…lol

I use a layer mask action I created. It finds edges and enhances them. I think the closest you can come to it is using the adjustment brush to selectively sharpen the eyes, ring, camera, etc. You should be able to do quit a bit with LR, but there are some things that Photoshop is aces at, using layer masks and creating actions to be able to apply to multiple images is but a couple.
