Default Moving On To New Adventures .... Goodbye to G1X

A couple of months ago I sold off all of my Canon 35mm DSLR gear to begin a new adventure in a different direction.

The day after I sold the last body/lens I began to miss is so on a whim I purchased a Canon G1X.

Well today my new photographic journey begins so I had decided to let the G1X move on to someone else who can enjoy it. Also have the Ranox 250, spare battery, and Canon filter adapter.

Gotta say it is the best darn P&S camera I ever used, but I have decided that P&S isn't for me.

Have you decided on a direction for your journey?

Yeah ... Hassleblad!

It's something I have been wanting to try for more than a few years, an opportunity to make this move came along and I could not let to go buy.

It's an expensive journey, but one I think will be well worth it in the long run.

I need to go there, just to see!

Actually my local dealer was telling me the new Nikon D880E I think it is, comes very close to the 39 Megapixel Hassleblad.

But I was making a format change, and not wanting to fall back to another 35mm DSLR system from a different manufacturer.

My desire for Medium Format has always been with me ... I have several Medium Format film bodies that I use from time to time. Hopefully the Hassleblad digital can stop up to them.

I keep hearing that Fuji make all Hasselblads now , when did that start ?
When I was a lad it was all Swedish to me.
