Default Dude, Where's My Truck?

Here's a few photos of an abandoned truck in a field near a farm house. The place was very interesting, but there were "No Trespassing" signs everywhere so I didn't spend too much time lurking around. That, and some creepy sounds, made me a bit wary--someone could have been living in an old shed that was on the property, so I didn't want to risk stumbling upon some crazed lunatic.

nice, i like the color. A moderator should be able to move it, try clicking that tiny "!" in the triangle and ask to have it moved.

obviously off topic, but i'd probably be a "crazed lunatic" if i caught you trespassing on my property after clearly posting it as well...

anyhow, i love the color shots. the others don't quite do it for me personally.

Normally I'd agree, but the noise, if from a person, was not from the homeowner, as the house was obviously abandoned: the house was boarded up, the shed was a disaster of refuse and deteriorating cars and trucks, the driveway was fenced off, the grass was thigh high, and there were no signs that anyone lived there. So it was probably a squatter, or someone who was hiding out thinking I was an authority of some sort.

Oh yeah

or it could have been an animal or something too. i had an old shed back in the woods that I went to
go check in on after a couple of years of not using it and as I approached, a deer jumped out of it!
scared the crap out of me, but was funny after the fact

Lol. True, it could've been a raccoon or deer, and not something as menacing as a drug-addled miscreant, but I didn't want to risk it nonetheless. I'm stil debating on whether or not I should go back there as the site has so much potential ...

I wonder, what's the worse thing that could've happened to me if the police did show up, aside from having to explain what I was doing there to my fiancee, who hates it when I do Abandoned Photography. Could I have been arrested, or ticketed, or merely given a warning if I explained myself properly? Perhaps I should do some research before I decide to go back there again.

I don't know how it is in canada, but here it is certainly a violation for trespassing to trespass onto posted land.
which could get you locked up for up to 15 days, and there are fines, etc.
assuming the cops are called or happen to drive by and see you.

you could also just get shot and buried by the land owner, but that never happens..

Maybe I should be worried about ravenous cannibals . Punishment for crime in general is way more lax in Canada then in the US, so worst case would likely be a small fine.

There was the remains of a wooden fence that was damaged long ago; ie, there were fence poles but the wire part was not visible, as witnessed by the overgrowth of grass, making entrance to the property easy.
