Default M8 and M20 with 60Da

With clouds over head this weekend I took a shot and reprocessed a pic. I shot this 8-9-12. The first nite I had my new Canon 60Da and CLS clip in filter (So my 1st light image I guess).

It's the 1st time I have tried my hand with HDR in PS.

Target: M8, M20 and M21
Date: 8-9-12
Time: 21:15 to 22:15
Camera: Canon 60Da
Lens: None
Method: Prime Focus
Filter: Astronomik CLS
Mount: Orion Atlas
Telescope: AT65
Guiding: Orion SSAG w/ 50mm guide scope
Lights: 60x60 sec (1 HR)
No calibration frames
Sky zone: Orange/red (since I live in an apartment as the target moved toward the Meridian I had to deal with lights from the stairwell).

Thanks for looking. Feedback appreciated.

Nice but how much noise reduction did you use? It really looks like the noise reduction made the stars look almost like a mosaic.

Thanks Rick.

I used a few techniques to reduce the star size and blur the background a bit. maybe this gave it that look? I tried HDR toning in PS for the 1st time also. Now that I think about it I did take some darks but that wouldn't be the cause.
