I have tried to no avail to find EXIF data on posts. Can anyone give me a little clue on this.

Exif plugins like the ones rockdog mentioned. Then just right click an image and see the exif. Keep in mind not every image has the exif data. So if it does not work for you when you try it.... just move on to another image.
