Surfers Healing 2012 - VA Beach

I'm continuously amazed how much Surfers Healing truly "heals" - heart, mind, body and soul...... it's a beautiful and amazing experience.

1. Opening Prayer before surfing starts

2. This happy face is why I sit at the computer ready to go when sign-up page goes live

3. Look at him go! ALL BY HIMSELF!

4. Going overboard!

5. Love how relaxed he looks on the board

6. Perhaps one of my favorites!

7. TONS of dolphins in the water just a little bit in behind the surfers

8. Another successful year @ Surfers Healing!

Thanks guys! and Chris .... they take kids out as little as 3!!!!! Seriously, I urge EVERYONE I know that has a child on the spectrum - to PLEASE check out Surfers Healing. Even if you think your child isn't ready, you would be seriously surprised. They had one child who was REFUSING TO put on his life jacket at camp this year. The volunteers were very calm, wrestled the life jacket on and walked the child out to the water. Immediately after being handed off to his surfer and set on the board, he calmed down.
