Surf Photography Thread!

I love surfing and I have messed around shooting a little surf photography. I love looking at surf photos, and there is no devoted surf thread on POTN. So here's to hoping there are some surf photogs from the various corners of our fine planet who will chime in!

Since I'm trying to improve it would be great to see others work and what they are using as well.
Shot with 30D, Kenko 1.5 non reporting and 400/5.6L

Thanks Rick - that is a screen grab off the video from my GoPro Hero 2 mounted on the nose of my board - the still images are much higher resolution, of course, but screen grabs are good enough for online sharing usually

Mike that's some nice action there, but it looks pretty dark - since you are shooting at F/8 with the T-con maybe get that ISO up to compensate?

Great thread and great timing. I sold my housing awhile back because of no time to shoot. I am, however, getting a new housing next month when the new generations of the Essex Surf housings become available. I can't wait to get back in the water and get pummeled. I may have posted 1 or 2 of these prior. Thanks, Chuck
