I was just playing around with some different props and the one I am unsure of is the Hula Hoop. Does it work at all, probably the beach would have been a better location or an open field I think I tried to blur the background as much as possible so it would be less distracting. Critiques welcome on how to improve all are just basic levels adjustments and nothing more.

3 and 5 for me.
I'm thinking the hoop works in 3 because it is a part of the composition. In 1 and 2 it's just a lowly prop... Plus, 3 is a much cleaner image in terms of background.

The hoop doesn't work at all in these for me. As you already suspected, it would be best suited in another setting, another time of year and with a different wardrobe. No real reason for it to be in any of these.

4, 6, 7 = 4 in particular 4 me! Next time you post, you might want to consider a little shorter on the long edge so we can appreciate the whole of your work without scrolling. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback Rick and Charlie really appreciate it.

Glimmerman I like 5 as well of course she us holding my old camera that I learned on. :)

Russ thanks I agree the hoop I didn't think worked maybe on the beach during the summer, but boy can she work it.

Thanks "blackfeather" I keep thinking I have resized correctly guess I need to go back to the drawing board. Thanks for the compliment.

To me #4 is the best. I would have loved to see more shots of her in that environment.

I don't think they really work to be honest (due to setting/wardrobe), but you still managed some great shots with them! I absolutely adore #4 with the hoop. Was there a particular reason you wanted to use the hoop or were you experimenting? I think it's a cool concept, especially for future shoots with a metallic silver hoop :)

Have to agree I like the one's without the hoop. I think she is better without props.

Thanks for the replies it's really helpful, I had doubts about the hoop and was right, the model just happen to have her hoop with her she is very very good with it I am amazed, so I thought why not. I brought the coat, the purse and camera just trying different things out.

Here are two more one without prop (coat only) and camera.

6, 7 and 8 work the best for me. I kinda like the hula hoop in 1 but not in the others. Her expression in 1 fits with finding the hula hoop laying around and just playfully giving it a twirl.
