Just got a speedlight last week. Still trying to learn how to use it effectively but here is a sample. Bare flash.

PHOTOBUCKET EMBEDDING IS DISABLED BY THIS MEMBER.
Photobucket sends ads instead of embedding photos from their free galleries.

really like the first image, but I feel like on the second the dof is really distracting. The guy's face should be in focus as well for this one.. either that or be way more out of focus, since it looks like he's a blurry subject in this. It could just be me :)

All excellent! Love the fruit splashing the water, Jaynez! Did you just point the light down from above and remove all ambient with a small aperture?

This was shot with a single handheld 600EX-RT triggered by a ST-E3-RT. I was testing out the Rogue 3-in-1 grid system. I think this was the 25 degree. I really like what it can add to the flexibility of a speedlight.
