FlyingPhotog's photos are probably the main reason why I was so determined to get this lens, even if he makes a hell of a big difference with his technical ability!

That is one of the best F-22 photos I've ever seen.

Well, after saving for over a year. (felt like a lifetime) I can finally join the ranks of the big boys and post in this thread. I took possession of my 500mm f4L IS lens today and took it out before the light was all gone. These are my first two images with my 7D. Can't wait to try it with the extender on my 6D.
