Yes, they are legit. I have bought two of them, and double-checked with Billingham before the purchase.

got my hadley proin khaki the other day. Wonderful bag! I can get everything in it without any problems. Carry a Canon 6d, 25-105 f4L, 8-15 f4L fisheye, 100mm f2.8L macro, 35mm f1.4L and my macbook air 11". Amazing how much I can fit in it. Ofc the macbook is only when i am flying so it is kinda stuffed, but fits non the less :)

Canon 6D, 24-105 f/4 IS L => Might get replaced by a 24-70 f/2.8 Mk II L, 8-15mm f/4 fisheye L, 50mm f/1.2 L, Speedlite 600et-rt, Speedlite ST-E3-RT

A new Billingham 307-L ??

This is interesting and disappointing ... why did they abandon the fast, quiet, and one-handed easy "clog-ball" quick release straps on this new bag and require un-buckeling the straps to gain entry to the bag?

I don't like what they did with the straps. I much prefer the quick release straps.

Leave it to the younger Billingham to F-up what his father started.

Actually, it's probably because of the weight that the bag becomes. The clog ball idea only goes so far as it's reliant on the sturdiness of the leather. Even if it worked up to a point, they'd have to fix bags whose leather has gone worn in that spot. At least with the Hadley series, the leather strap is user-replaceable.

I'm not actually much of a fan of the clog ball. I'm always worried my leather straps are going to stretch out and not close properly anymore, or wear out faster than I'd like. But as Savas K mentions, they are user replaceable, which is very good.

It looks a lot like a hadley of some sort to me, but I have never seen the green label in that place before (then again, I haven't paid much attention).

I like them...softer onthe hand than Domke hooks. Quieter too.

+1, big fan of the clod ball (sp?) design. Looks great and very functional.
