So clean at 1600. I dont think I've been able to get similar results - Im sure its my user error.
What metering mode? Did you do any noise reduction? Maybe you ETTR? any help is appreciated, that looks great!

To get clean images at high ISO its essential that you dont underexpose.

Old version of 24-70... it's a great lens. We had a few knocking around at my school

I love its `drawbacks`: simple to use, simple menu, controls and settings feel almost like shooting with an old film camera. The quality is such that I am not buying a 6D right now but will buy more lenses instead until I out-growth the 5Dc (probably never).

I have been trying to post some pictures but keep getting rejected. POTN says my files are too large (I have reduced them consistently to about 600k). How can I reduce the size in bytes (I understand the maximum is 150K!) and at the same time keeping the size in pixels? I need some help, please. I am using Faststone. Thanks. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com …o3h0U/s1024/IMG_3874a.jpg ![]() Welcome! I've owned a 5D mark III, two 5DII's and this is my second 5Dc and the 5Dc still puts out amazing images. I think it mostly has to do with the weaker AA screen so it's like a "digital" filmic look.

If you upload them from your computer, you also need to use your software to resize to within 150KB in file size! Tony

I have to say...the quality of the pictures of the 5D classic are just as awesome!! Although I think people posting here are more creative.
