These are great sample shots! I'd like to know if you made a custom lens profile to fix the distortion on this lens, or if you did it manually.

Thank you! I used the lightroom profile from http://joopsnijder.blogspot.nl …ofile-for-samyang-14.html (external link)

I can't get a screenshot, but a Google Search for the phrase:

Adorama Retail Store will close for Shavuot Holiday

shows that it was on the site:

Departments and Services - Adorama
www.adorama.com/help/DepartmentsAndServices‎ (external link)
The Adorama NYC Retail Store will be closed for Shavuot Holiday from Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 5:00pm and will reopen on Friday May 17, at 9:00 am ...

Yes it takes me way back to the Department and Services page, nothing on the main site or ordering pages.

Would that work with the 1D 1.3x crop?

It isn't there any more; it was taken down when we re-opened on Friday morning. But it was there while we were closed, and for several days beforehand.

It wouldn't appear in a Google search if it hadn't previously been there!

It must have been in WEE letters since nobody I know could find it (unless it was a forbidden popup window) But the fact my lens is still only marked as "Packed Phase 1" after 1 week after placing the order, and nobody at Adorama can tell me exactly where the lens is and why it hasn't shipped that's what is more concerning at this point. I sent you an email to keep it off here, but as with most of Adorama's service thus far, no response.

I hope sometime in the next month to get my lens so I can post some pics. Oh the horror if I have a bum lens and have to deal with Adorama RMA Support! LOL

I never saw it either. Must have been a site-wide glitch. Something you should make sure is working 100% for the next time.

I am sorry that you did not see it, but it was there because I saw it.

Granted, not for as many days before the holiday as B&H and not on every page. Nevertheless it was there until Friday morning.

I have no reason to lie.

Excellent photograph. Did you use any nd filter? I've been looking for a nd filter and holder solution but i couldn't find a product.

Thanks :) No Nd. I took a photo exposing for the sky and used a layer mask in post to blend. I already have so much money tied up in the 4x6 filter setup I just can't afford a whole new setup for the 14. Hopefully there are some 3rd party knockoffs that release the filter holder.

Also, sine we seem to have BH and Adorama's attention, I think you guys should be able to ship General Delivery (to post office). I needed a lens replaced and being that I'm living on the road I don't have an address to ship stuff to. Instead of being able to have a package shipped to the post office near camp, I had to drive 4 hours to a mail delivery service center. Of course, you very well may ship to post offices but I seemed to really confuse the people on the phone at both companies :( I just don't see the issue considering its going to be signed for with proof of identification.
