I'm certain most of these pictures aren't much compared to the professionals on this forum. But I think a couple of them turned out pretty decently! This is my first time really shooting for "scenery" of any sort. All single exposures, no HDR

These were all shot with my T2i and a 10-22 EFS lens

Switzerland

These are excellent - well done! I like the way that the lines of the path in #2 draw the eye to the waterfall in the distance.

I like the colors, the exposure and the subject matter in each of these. Europe is a wonderful place, and you have captured some of the feel of it.

But there are some things I am not so keen on ...
2. The wide angle appears to have relegated the top of the cliffs to the background too much. So instead of majestic cliffs towering above, these appear a little diluted and have lost some of their magnificence. Perhaps some perspective adjustment would make the cliffs a more powerful part of the image.

3. The horizon looks wrong to me. With a lake in frame, it looks like the water should all flow to the left.

5. That bit of pink flare near middle of frame is distracting.

7. I think this could have been shot a little wider, so the bottom of the cathedral was not cut off. This would also result in more space to the left, which might also mean the towers were not so obviously leaning away from edge of frame.

Shots like Notre Dame are common in Europe, with photographers having limited options to capture large buildings in confined spaces. Wide angle lenses help here, but can result in converging verticals that look artificial. I have often found it better to make some perspective adjustment to straighten the verticals a little. Opinion will vary on this, it would be interesting to hear what others think.

Very nice moody shots! Shots 4 to 6 would look nicer with some perspective correction, I think. I really love the third photo - colors and PoV are simply amazing!
