I rarely use any modifiers outdoors. They eat up a lot of power. If anything, I would use a Fongdome. (Kidding!) An umbrella if anything.

Joking about this, I saw a wedding tog use one last year. Outside. OMG

^ Like he said I don't really use a modifier when outdoors. But sometimes I use a Rogue Flash Bender (Large) with a diffusion panel.

Shooting in the full mid day sun. Using the sun to light his hair, the bare bulb 430 II on ETTL to fill in his face.
