Very nice shot. I stay (part of the year) right across the bay, but have never gone over for the night shots I knew would be good.

I lived there for 10 years and never did either (go figure). If you ever decide to go shoot, the locations are very limited. This was shot from the bridge to Davis Island right in front of Tampa General Hospital. We searched for locations for about an hour before settling on this one.

My wife spent a lot of time in Tampa General some years back. I've stood by the back rail along the water many times, admiring the view. Unfortunately, I was more concerned with other things then, not pictures.

She's doing well. Will soon be 10 years since she was diagnosed with cancer and had 10-15% chance of surviving 5 years. It will always be a threat, but we can do most all we want, so we're fortunate. Hope your situation turned out well.

Glad to hear she's beating the odds! My family tree has a lot of unhealthy branches, so I have spent more than my share of time hanging around hospitals over the past 15 or so years.
