Just did my first gym session today, didn't have proper gym shoes so went in walking shoes and my calves were paying the price. Spent an hour on the treadmill and burned 250 calories over 2.8 miles at 3.0 and avg 2.5 incline on the treadmill. Not the hardest workout, but enough to break a sweat apparently. Kind of happy with it considering my endurance and lower body strength and a perceived weak core. BMI scale says I'm of a healthy weight, my body is telling me that nowhere near enough of that is muscle.

Oh, yeah, I remember my clothes transition when I started walking my bridge:
Day 1: baseball cap, T-shirt, cargo pants, Converse All-Stars.
Day 3: baseball cap, T-shirt, cargo pants, new sneakers.
Day 5: baseball cap, T-shirt, training shorts and sneakers.
Two months later the baseball cap disappeared and I started wrapping my head in a do-rag (damn sight easier to clean).
