This is my recent trip to Shenandoah National Park. Despite a short 3 days trip, we had a great time there. We saw 3 black bears! The scariest one is 2 bears standing on the hiking trail to the Dark Hollow Falls, and no one else on the trail except us. We did continue the hike after we met another big group of people coming in, which we scare the black bear away.
I appreciate the constructive criticism, for more photos or higher resolution photo, please visit my website:

Great set, but 12, 13 and 14 are absolutely wonderful! You should contact Apple/Microsoft with those to see if they are in need of any new background/wallpaper images :)

Fantastic series: 1, 10 and 14 for me. I've spent a lot of time in that area, but never the park. Will make a point to visit.

13 isn't showing for me. I really like 10.

Beautiful. However, I'm surprised you got such great weather for that nighttime shot. Am from that area originally, and usually this time of year it rains pretty much non-stop. Very lucky to get such great skies.

Great shots. I wish I would have been into photography back when I actually lived near there.
