Hi jdizzle

How are you getting along with this? Does it mark the lens at all?

I welcome comments from anyone else who has this also. Thanks.

Scarbo,
it attaches at the same point as your normal lens cap attaches, so the answer is no.
To offset the price, I also grabbed a 77mm adapter so the system can be used with my 24-105 and for a giggle, i put it on my 100-400 ;)

I've tried out this system briefly including the square filters. It works well. The filters are huge, but vignetting is not a problem unless shifting with a few stacked filters. I got a magenta cast from one of the ND filters, but it wasn't too bad. I don't like the small little brass screws that hold the square filters holder in place as they are easily lost, but other than that, It works fairly well.
Edit: Forgot to mention that internal reflections can occur due to the filters reflecting the front element of the lens causing an unwanted rainbow effect in some photos.

I saw that. It's quite a lot more expensive though and appears to do the same thing...

It is a bit spendy. :)

I've used it and it does a fine job. As Mike mentioned, I don't recommend doing a heavy stack since it may cause some color casts.
