thanks everyone for their responses! i'm looking at the Lowepro Flipside 500 AW at the moment, although the ThinkTank looks like the better travel option. However, I am considering that flexibility to use it for personal travel, were the lowepro's backpack functionality looks a bit more fitting.

Does anyone have experience with the 350AW for 2 bodies, a few lenses, speedlites, and a laptop?

Which 350AW?

Sorry, didn't realize there were different models. Lowepro Transit Backpack 350 AW. Seems to be able to hold a good amount, based off the specs. I'm worried that it'll be very heavy with 2x 5D Mark II Bodies, 70-200, 35mm, 14mm, speedlites, and a laptop and that the structure won't be sturdy.

Another route is an ordinary rolling bag that is internationally sized and put your camera bags into it. Especially if you won't be working right out of the bag. It could actually be better because you can show up and then pull out your bags that have been already setup or be close to it.
