My wife volunteers at our local shelter and I've gone a few times to help out. Noticed some of the cats didn't have pictures on their website or were in desperate need of updated photos. Also I was only a couple weeks into owning my first and only DSLR so I took it to the shelter and got a few shots of the kitties. I shot I think 8 of the cats. And of those at least 4 I know of have been adopted since! May just be a coincidence, but I like to think I helped get them adopted!

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.
Not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.

I'm sure your images did help. I spoke to a woman who was at the shelter to adopt a cat that she'd seen the picture of... every little bit helps these animals...

It's probably a good thing that I don't live closer, cause I would adopt that first kitty in a heart beat! But then again...I love black kitties too! Beautiful images Cheryl.

Thanks Sandy! I'm still thinking about the 2nd himalayan that was there, but my cat is very aggressive. Thanks for stopping in :)
