Playing around with some black and white/sepia with the M.
Used the 22mm for both.;)
Sorry for lack of quality, resizing the pics to fit post requirements here messes things up and strips the exif.:o

You can get around the image sizing limits of the forum by hosting your pics through flikr or photobucket or another similar services and just embedding your photos from there.

Hardest shoot with the M so far, the venue decided to turn off the lights on the make shift stage for some reason, so it was just spill light. Shot these all at 6,400 then pushed them 2 stops in post so effectively 25,600.

Used my 22mm,50mm and 135mm all wide open at 1/80(which was hairy to say the least). I normally like to be at least at 1/400. How I manged to get any keepers is beyond me, truly impressed by the M files.

I like this combo: M with EF 50mm f/1.8 mk1, nice, light and fun! :D

Good stuff Jason. Nice touch on the selective coloring.

Thank you.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to work on my new project.
I'm just waiting on a spanner wrench to finish it.

Olympus F.Zuiko 35mm 2.8 to EOS M conversion :D it's from a XA rangefinder which has great reviews for it's lens.

I'm also going to use the viewfinder from it to make a hot shoe mount one.

^^^^^^Very cool project :) How are you going to implement some type of AF and aperture control?

It has external controls! If you see the black tab with the white stripe that is your focusing, so don't need AF. Pre focus is even faster than any AF system anyways.

There is also a pin which you can't see very clearly but it lets you adjust from 2.8 to f/22, I'm just going to make two marks, one for f/2.8 and one for F/8 since those will be the only two I ever use probably.

Best part is that it only sticks out half as much as the 22mm does! so it will truly fit in a jean's pocket comfortably, just have to find a way to protect the front element.

This is the camera it came out of:

Hardest part was just finding a cheap broken one, because even broken XAs fetch around $30-40 on ebay.
I finally ended up finding a pair for $25 shipped, one worked perfectly and one didn't. Then $5 for the C mount adapter and $5 for a small spanner wrench.
