same, but there are a few nice features that would be good.

the 7Dmk2 comes with the inclusion of a built-in intervalometer and bulb timer function which I think is cool.

Yeah it was a nice camera, AF was great, lots of new focus points that are spread out. Had loads of fun playing machine gun with it and the 1DX+pancake (always wanted to do that for lols)

yea putting that many AF points on the 70D and many more on the 7Dmk2 it makes the likes the 6D rather sad looking. Apart from the -3ev that's one thing the 6D lacks. It make it a more rounded camera they could have put more AF points.

I got a old olympus OM-2n camera and thought I would go and shoot some film. well got to the end of the roll and went to wind it back and bingo did it the wrong way and ripped the film out of the canister. oooops.

Sorry for the picture overload...

Just got back from a week-long trip to Aoraki and Glenorchy. First time there...stunning vistas. I was there with my wife (who was bit under the weather) and our 7-year old, so couldn't run free.

The setting for Aoraki is just fantastic. I lived in the mountains of Colorado for 11 years, but these are just fantastic, the way they rear up so sharp and tall from the valley floors (in Colorado, the mountains don't seem as tall because of the foothills in front). The weather was a mixed bag -- clear and sunny, overcast, rain, hail, snow.

1. Road to Aoraki

2. It rained a lot

3. But I did luck out on one clear evening and just made it to this pool of water in time to catch the last light

4. My first time seeing glaciers and icebergs in real life -- one of the most awesome experiences of my life so far

Then it was on to Glenorchy. What a place -- so much stuff to see, explore, do, and photograph, 3 days was not enough. We did the Routeburn Track (up to Forge Flats) and the walk to Lake Sylvan -- superb green forests, quite a contrast to Aoraki.

5. We stayed a block from the lake -- handy for morning shots

6. Like at Aoraki, the weather was variable, but I did get one clear morning

7. Missed out on the blood moon due to clouds, but was able to shoot this the following night. The almost-full moon resulted in the Milky Way getting washed out

8. The landscape around Glenorchy/Paradise is some of the most picturesque I've ever seen
