I'll play :)

I coated a DVD with a little cooking oil to increase the viscosity between the DVD and the water drops that I placed on it with a syringe. Then I put an MT-14EX on an off camera cord so I could lay the flash head directly on the DVD. The disc has a prism effect when the light hit it, so the colors scattered and the shadows around the drops make them look like they are moving. Very minimal post processing. Shot with a 100mm macro lens + extension tubes (not sure what the magnification was, but it was over 1x).

Joining in. We hiked in the Vermillion Cliffs Nat Monument last week....now way (for me) to hike with the DSLR rig but did carry the TG-3

This is exactly why I grabbed this camera. IMHO it does great as a backpackable (e.g. doesn't break my back adding to all the other kit carried) macro set up....not so great at video
and there are many better choices for a point-n-shoot IQ wise.
