Tired of noisy Velcro bags. The sound drives me crazy is a quiet setting. Which brands of bags are reasonably priced and have noiseless straps?

Too much stuff, not enough shooting time.

Canon T4i (2 lenses), Fuji X100s, Olympus OM-D EM-1 (3 lenses)

Are you looking for something for your whole collection?

My National Geographic Explorer shoulder bag closes with snaps and has a drop down zipper cover over the camera enclosure. The zipper isn't silent, the space is limited, and I wouldn't pay full price for it. But it's a fantastic bag overall, no hint if noisy velcro and depending on how much you intend to carry it'll do. It fits my t3i with 40 or 18-55 and the other lens attached just fine, and I can slip a small tablet in. I probably have room for another small lens. I ordered mine from eBay.

Canon EOS 600D / EOS Rebel T3i / EOS Kiss X5 | Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro (1990 version) EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM

Hi

My think tank has what they call silent Velcro, don't get it, still makes a ripping noise.

One of the least noisy is Billingham, with its leather strap featuring an eyelet that slips over a metal ball.

Crumpler bags have "silencers" over the velcro if you don't want the noise. I have a 7MDH and they're super easy to flip out and your stealth!!

I have a leather bag from saddlebackleather. Quality bag but they are a little pricey.

Finally bought a Tamrac Apache 4 with the "Silent closure system". Fits my Oly EM1 and 12-40/2.8 zoom, an Oly 40-150/4.0-5.6 zoom and either a Canon G12 or a Pany GX7 with 17mm prime. Exactly what I wanted. Having mainly MFT stuff made it easy to fit everything into the medium sized Apache 4.

Too much stuff, not enough shooting time.
