I wasn't sure where product photography would normally be posted - still life? But thought wine/champagne would go well with food
Went to the studio to try out some different items, and would love to know how to do better. Is it a no-go to have the edge light to far in, on the bottle? As I have on the first image. I came to the conclusion, backlighting, a lamp from above and 2 reflectors, seemed to be what I had the best result with (the second image). But I think the reflections in the bottle are still to visible/messy?
Also tried porcelain, but that went really bad - do anyone know, if people mostly shoot porcelain with daylight through a window? I had a hard time getting long, soft highlights.
