Not the sharpest shot ever, but maybe of interest as having a great difference between the ages of the camera and the lens? I really wanted something with more reach than the 70-200, so I stuck my old Nikkor-P 300mm (1964) on the 7D2 and focused it in live view. ISO400, 1/640, f/8 on a tripod. Nearly a 100% crop.

Last from s.Carolina, the 7D2 + 400DOii made the cut for Patagonia, not that I'll see anything to shoot there with a 400 and TC me thinking mostly landscape there but if I don't take it I'll certainly be staring at something with a 16-35mm and crying :)
